Dave with Chris Spedding and the Vulcans at The Boardwalk, Chris formed his
1st band in Sheffield in 1960 they reformed the band for a one of gig it was
the 1st time they had played together for 48yrs. Chris would watch Dave from
the wings at Sheffield Gaumont Theatre and in the 80s did a cover of 'The
Crying Game'
Dave was invited to the gig to introduce the band on stage.

CRACKER SHOW AT THE NEC BIRMINGHAM ON DECEMBER 21 ALONG WITH UB 40, ELKIE
BROOKS, ROY WOOD'S WIZARD, TOYAH AND THE BIRMINGHAM ROYAL BALLET. THEY PLAYED
TO 14,000 PEOPLE RAISING OVER £200,000 FOR LOCAL CHARITIES.THIS YEARLY EVENT
IS UNUSUAL AS THE CROWD DON'T KNOW WHO IS ON TILL THEY WALK ON STAGE .
DAVE WAS THE ONLY 60'S ARTIST TO BE INVITED. HE WAS BACKED BY BEV BEVANS
MOVE, ON KEYBOARDS RICK WAKEMAN AND LEGENDARY GUITARIST TONI IOMMI FROM
BLACK SABBATH
