Picture 1966 Dave arranged a football match to support the Aberfan Disaster fund against a woman football team from Staveley Derbyshire .Picture shows Dave with Members of The Cruisers Dave’s road manager and friends. Bottom right is legendary Sheffield Musician Dave Hawley father of Richard Hawley, Over 3,000 people supported the game and raised over £2,000 for the fund.
